Texas Tall Ship Elissa Post Ike From the Air by Peter A. Mello

Following up on an earlier post about the tall ship Elissa, Sea-Fever reader and commenter Bjorn sent us a link to a photo taken post Hurricane Ike by NOAA’s National Geodetic Survey’s Remote Sensing Division which shows Texas’ official tall ship resting in her berth. (Click on the image and you will find Elissa on the left) Scanning the photo you can easily see that most of the boats in the nearby marina unfortunately did not fair so well.
