I’m typically not an alarmist, but if the sea level rises just 1 meter, we’re screwed. I’m thinking of installing davits and a lifeboat off our back deck. Check out your chances.

Comment by Will B September 20, 2009 @ 12:01 pmHmmm. When we were in the process of moving to this area we almost bought a house in Mattapoisett. The deal didn’t come together for us, but we did do quite a bit of research on flood risk as the house was close to a stream and wetlands and not much above sea level. Judging by your map we would have been screwed too!
