In honor of World Water Day today you should must watch this video and then go out and buy a reusable bottle. Better yet, rinse one out and use that!

Amazing amount of energy wasted on making and ship bottles of water that we consume in 2 minutes! Yikes! Shame on us.

In our town, Christchurch, New Zealand all our tap water comes from aquifers that carry the snowmelt across the plains to us from the mountains to our West. It is higher quality than anything in a bottle. I buy the odd one, maybe once every few months, just to refill it from the tap as needed. You can always tell a tourist in our town. The first thing they do is fill a shopping trolley with water bottles.

Thanks for visiting and commenting David.

Someday I hope to make it to your town. I hear your country knows a thing or 2 about sailing. ;-)

Yes, that is indeed disgusting when thinking about it. Glad you’re share and might make some more aware of this issue. We need to start thinking of our planet in a greater extend if we want to live here much longer.
