Well, sadly it’s come to this.
Technology is taking over every aspect of our lives including our enjoyment (and safety) at the beach.
Imagine Baywatch with EMILY (for EMergency Integrated Lifesaving lanYard) instead of Pam. Sad. :(

Such a plain-looking robot de-eroticizes the beach. But if it could save lives, why not?
