There are so many challenges today to our traditional fishing industries. Tougher regulations, increased fuel costs and expenses and overfishing, climate change are just a few. In Saturday, September 22, 2007, Wall Street Journal, Candace Jackson wrote an article titled Virginia’s Time Machine: An isolated fishing port for 300 years, Tangiers Island now wants to sell it’s history.
