Hey Mark;
Thanks for listening and commenting. Wow, time flies, it just seems like yesterday that Steven was about Luke’s age. Man, we’re getting old! Hope I get to ship my 2 out someday! ;-)
It would be great to have you or Steven give us updates here or via the podcast about his experiences at sea and school.
Peter I have enjoyed this series…At 11:50 AM tomorrow January 12th 575 cadets and officers from Massachusetts Maritime Academy will begin their own version of “Messing About In Ships” Under the command of Captain Thomas Bushy the 550′ Training Ship Enterprise will depart for warmer waters thus begining MMA Sea Term 2008. The vessel will visit ports on Panama, Aruba and Costa Rica transiting the Panama Canal. Hundreds of cadets will be inducted as “Shellbacks” when their ship crosses the equator line. You can follow their progress at http://www.maritime.edu then click links to sea term and blogs. Wishing fair winds and following seas to C4 Steven Barry and his shipmates!
