“If we don’t do anything, it will be forgotten”

Seventy five years since his last visit, Samuel Nevins tours the Charles W. Morgan being restored in Mystic Seaport.

My favorite line: “Without a comfortable wife, you don’t have a life.”

  1. That’s a really moving video. I loved this wonderful line ‘without a comfortable wife, you don’t have a life’! So true indeed.

  2. Col. Green’s estate was at Round Hill in Dartmouth, not Fairhaven. My father has told me about visiting the Morgan there many times, where she was in a sand berth until 1941.
